FAQ
Audit questions, answered
Is the billing audit really free?
Yes. The audit is free and carries no obligation. You keep the findings whether or not you hire Optimus.
What do you need from my practice?
Basic practice details to start: specialty, EHR, number of providers and a rough monthly collections band. We agree a secure way to share any reports. Please never email patient information.
How long does it take?
It depends on how quickly reports can be shared and how many payers are involved. We confirm the timeline when we first speak.
Will you work inside my EHR for the audit?
Only if you want us to. We can review exported reports first. For ongoing billing we work inside all major EHR and PM systems.
What happens after the audit?
We walk you through the findings and the options. If billing from 2.9%* of collections suits your practice we will show you the price, and if it does not, we will say so.
